Saturday, April 30 – Spring Bloom Photo Workshop – Want to get away from the auto settings on your digital camera and learn to take creative control? This is the workshop for you. Morning spent shooting at a great Hudson Valley location followed by a review of the days work back at the gallery in Sugar Loaf. Ten max, lunch included. – $195

Saturday, May 14 – Fine Print Workshop – Learn how to print like a pro. The full day begins in the field with a morning learning how to make compelling landscape images. Afternoon session covers color management essentials and basic Photoshop tools to produce a gallery quality print of your mornings image. Six max, lunch and 13×19 print included. – $295

Saturday, May 21 – Alumni Photo Workshop – After having learned the basics in the Fine Print Workshop, continue to advance your technique in the field and print making in the studio. HDR processing and more. Six max, lunch and 13×19 print included. -$295

Cancelation Fee $50 on all one day workshops. Weather can postpone a workshop to the following day, remember to keep both Saturday and Sunday open.

One-on-One Instruction

Nick:GriffinBring in your favorite image and we’ll work together to create an exhibition quality print. During our four hour session together, I’ll cover color management with you and all the newest digital techniques to produce a master file for your future use as well as a quality jpg to order prints on the internet.

You can also customize your own personal day of instruction. Field or studio work or both. your choice. Half day four hours: $500, Full day eight hours: $1000. Call me to discuss your needs.

food5Seven nights, six days of photography, food and fun! Only eight spaces available, making for a great small group experience. I provide the ten passenger van to transport the group to the medieval towns we will explore. Highlights include Bologna cooking school and city markets. Parma and Modena and into the countryside to taste and photograph the making of Prosciutto, Lambrusco wine, Parmesan cheese and Balsamic. I do all the planning to guide you to the wonderful places this region has to offer and help to get your photography to the next level with evening programs that inspire creativity and improve technical skills. We meet in Bologna, Saturday, September 17 and I drop you back off Saturday, September 24. Expenses not included: travel to Italy, accommodations, meals, alcohol, incidentals. Expenses covered: transportation in Italy, first night orientation dinner and slide show, guidance/instruction. Plus- you receive a hard cover book I will create from everyone’s workshop images!
