Image of the Month |“Galaxy Pool”
Over four weeks in May the landscape starts leafless and ends lush green. Water is flowing strong as well and the best time of the year to photograph waterfalls and iridescent moss. I captured the swirling waters vortex by experimenting with varied long exposures – each rendered the movement differently. This image of the “galaxy” swirl was the “keeper” and has a prominent place in my upcoming book on Harriman State Park.
